BCCI Announces Rs 58 Crore for Indian Cricket Team

Colombo (News 1st): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a substantial cash reward of Rs 58 crore for the Indian cricket team following their triumphant victory in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy held in Dubai.

This announcement was made by BCCI President Roger Binny, who highlighted the team's dedication and excellence on the global stage.

The cash prize is intended to honor the players, coaching staff, and members of the Men's Selection Committee for their hard work and strategic execution throughout the tournament.

The official prize money was Rs. 19.45 crore. But the BCCI is offering Team India three times that. Team India is getting Rs. 58 crore which is no small amount.

On March 9th, India became the only side in the Champions Trophy history to secure a third title as they beat New Zealand by four wickets.
