316 COVID fatalities in Sri Lanka; 03 deaths reported on Sunday (31)

Colombo (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed three (03) deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 316.

01.The deceased is a 38 year old male from Colombo 08. He was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 and transferred from General Hospital Colombo to the Chest Hospital Welisara where he died on 31.01.2021 The cause of death is mentioned as an infection in lungs with Covid 19 infection. 02.The deceased is a 68 year old female from Kaduwela. She died on 27.01.2021 while undergoing treatments at Nevil Fernando Hospital. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia and heart failure. 03. The deceased is a 69 year old female from Anguruwathota. She died on 30.01.2021 on admission to Base hospital Horana. The Cause of death is mentioned as an infection in chest with Covid 19 infection and high blood pressure.
