Govt must announce one stance on the ECT, says Ven. Gnanasara Thero

COLOMBO (News1st):  All parts of the government must come together and present one stance on the handing over of the East Container Terminal, Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero said. Addressing a media briefing today, the Venerable Thero said that different parts of the government are expressing mixed opinions on the matter. The Thero insisted that the President must make a statement to the people of this country. "The East container terminal and the west container terminal are both ours. We are not asking them not to give away any specific asset. We are completely against selling off our assets," the Thero added.
