Sri Lankan Tri-forces Dispatch First Relief Flight to Earthquake-hit Myanmar

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A special flight carrying Sri Lankan tri-forces personnel is scheduled to depart for Myanmar at around 8 a.m. today to assist those affected by the recent earthquake.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the flight will transport a medical team, a rescue unit, and a relief team. 

Additionally, it will carry essential aid collected under the guidance of the chief prelates of the 3 sects.
