MP Wasantha Yapa Bandara COVID positive

Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Kandy District Parliamentarian Attorney-at-Law Wasantha Yapa Bandara has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Parliament Administration said he last visited parliament on the 19th of January and CCTV footage is being used to identify his close contacts. Accordingly, 06 Members of Parliament had so far tested positive for the coronavirus in Sri Lanka. They Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera, State Minister Piyal Nishantha, MP Rauff Hakeem and MP Wasantha Yapa Bandara.
