Pavithra Wanniarachchi COVID positive, Health Ministry confirms

Colombo (News 1st); Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi has tested positive for COVID-19, the Health Ministry confirmed on Saturday (23).

According to the Health Ministry, the Minister will be moved to a treatment facility.

She becomes the fifth Parliamentarian to test positive after State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara, MP Rauff Hakeem, Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara and State Minister Piyal Nishantha.
