Sri Lanka confirms three more COVID-19 deaths

COLOMBO (News1st): Sri Lankan health authorities confirmed three deaths due to COVID-19 on Saturday, raising the death tally to 211, the government information department said. A 93-year old female from Colombo 13 who had died due to multiple complications of the virus on Wednesday was among the deceased. Meanwhile, a male believed to be between the age of 70 and 80 whose identity has not been identified was also identified as a COVID-19 victim. His body had been discovered in Maradana, the department said in a statement. The deaths also included a 76-year old male from Colombo 12 who had died at the Homagama Base Hospital due to pneumonia and kidney disease caused by the virus.
