Bogambara Prison Break: 01 Dead, 03 Injured and 01 Missing

05 inmates had attempted to scale the prison wall and make a getaway and during the attempts one of them had died and three others sustained injuries.

It is still unclear, as to how the prisoners attempted to reach the wall and sustain injuries.

Commissioner General of Prisons Thushara Upuldeniya said the deceased was a 30-year-old from Anuradhapura.

Another prisoner had managed to escape during the melee and a wide manhunt is underway to locate and arrest the escapee.
