16th COVID-19 death reported in Sri Lanka

Colombo (News 1st); The 16th COVID-19 death was reported in Sri Lanka on Sunday (25), confirmed the Department of Government Information quoting the Director General of Health Services.
The victim was identified as a 70 year old made from Colombo 02 and was treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the National Hospital in Colombo.
The Director General of Health Services said the victim passed away early morning on Sunday (25) and was admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo on the 23rd of October following a germ infection.
The Department of Government Information said the victim died due to complications following the infection.
