Morning Blaze at Pettah Shop Successfully Contained

COLOMBO (News 1st); A fire that broke out this morning at a shop near the Red Mosque in Pettah has been successfully extinguished.
The Fire Department reported that the blaze started around 8:30 AM.
Five fire trucks were deployed to contain the fire, which originated in a shop selling decorative items and cosmetic products.
he extent of the damage caused by the fire has not yet been assessed.
