Colombo (News 1st); SLMC Batticaloa District MP Naseer Ahamad was one of the Opposition Parliamentarians who voted in support of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution on Thursday (23).
A video clip and photographs of Samagi Jana Balavegaya MP Thushara Indunil offering an Rs. 20/- note to the SLMC MP is now going viral across social media platforms.
Naseer Ahamad defending his decision to support the 20th Amendment said the 19th Amendment destroyed many things from 2015 to 2020 while the Executive Presidency system from 1978 to 2015 did not pose any issue.
