Weather update : Strong winds of 50kmph expected

Rains will occur at times in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western, North-western, Uva provinces and in Galle, Matara and Ampara districts, according to the Met department. Showers will occur at times in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces. Several spells of showers will occur in Western and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur in Uva province and in Ampara district after 2.00 pm. Strong gusty winds of around 50 kmph at times can be expected.
