Colombo (News 1st); Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abyewardena has said it is time to prepare and introduce a fair constitution which would not require any amendments at least for the next five decades.
"What we have is a rubbish constitution which has been subject to amendments on 19 separate occasions," said the speaker following an event at the University of Ruhuna.
