Municipal worker arrested for heroin possession further remanded

Colombo (News 1st); The Colombo Municipal Council worker who was attached to the Kolonnawa Urban Council and was arrested for heroin possession was remanded to the 08th of September by Colombo Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage on Tuesday (25).
The suspect was arrested by the Padukka Police recently for the possession of over 01 Kilogram of Heroin.
On the 18th of August, the Colombo Additional Magistrate permitted the Padukka Police to detain and interrogate the suspect until Tuesday, 25th August.
