Executive Vacancies in Government Services to be Addressed

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has announced plans to fill several vacancies in the executive grade of the government, including the Sri Lanka Administrative Service. 

A total of 156 new recruits will be selected for the Sri Lanka Administrative Service based on the results of the competitive examination held in 2021.

Currently, there are 400 vacancies in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, and the Ministry plans to recruit 250 individuals for the Engineering Service, which has over 400 vacancies. 

Additionally, preliminary work has been completed to recruit 289 new personnel for the Sri Lanka Accountants' Service. 

The Ministry also plans to recruit 136 individuals for the Sri Lanka Planning Service.
