Sisters Found Stabbed to Death in Muthur Home

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two sisters were found murdered in their home in Dahaanagar, Muthur in the Trincomalee District of Sri Lanka. 

Acting Police Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) F.U. Wootler, stated that the bodies, bearing stab wounds, were discovered early this morning (14).

The victims, aged 68 and 72, were identified as residents of the area. 

The police have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the murders.
