Colombo (News 1st); The Former OIC of the Police Narcotic Bureau, IP Neomal Rangajeewa obstructed the duties of a photo-journalist this afternoon at the premises of the Number 01 Colombo High Court.
The incident took place when the photo-journalist was about to take a photograph of Neomal Rangajeewa.
The Former OIC of the Police Narcotic Bureau, IP Neomal Rangajeewa is the first suspect in the Welikada Prison Massacre case.
Video footage recorded at the premises showed, IP Neomal Rangajeewa dragging away the photo-journalist to the police post located the court premises.
IP Neomal Rangajeewa is to appear for the defence when the case on the Welikada Prison Massacre is taken up in court on Friday afternoon.
