WATCH VIDEO: Police crack whip against anti US protesters in Sri Lanka

Several members of the Frontline Socialists Party who attempted to stage a protest opposite the U.S. Embassy in Colombo were arrested by the Police.

The Frontline Socialists Party organized the protest against the killing of American National George Floyd which has led to a wave of protests in the United States as well as several other countries. Yesterday, the Police obtained an order from the Fort Magistrate's Court preventing the protest from taking place. The Police arrived at the very moment the protest was to start at the Colpetty Junction and dispersed the crowd. The Police arrested 10 members of the Frontline Socialists Party.
