31,680 people arrested since March 20th for Curfew Violations

Colombo (News 1st) ;  A total of 1392 people were arrested in a 24 hour window which ended at 06 AM on Saturday and 381 vehicles were seized during that period, for curfew violations. Since the 20th of March, a total of 31,680 people were arrested for violating the curfew and 8151 vehicles were seized. The curfew to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus is in effect across the country. The curfew for Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Puttlam and Jaffna will remain in place until further notice while the curfew for the other 19 districts will be relaxed at 06 AM on Monday the 20th of April.
