Dr. Ajantha joins UNP to contest General Election from Colombo

Colombo (News 1st) - Dr. Ajantha' Perera who contested the 2019 Presidential Election announced she joined with the United National Party. Speaking to reporters she said the political party which makes an effort to bring the people together is what is important for development and it can be seen in the United National Party, thereby she decided to accept an invitation extended by the UNP leader to join the party. Dr. Ajantha' Perera said she hopes to contest the General Election from the Colombo district.
