Two Ukranian nationals arrested for spearfishing

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Navy has apprehended two foreigners who were engaging in an illegal practice of spearfishing in Rumassala. The foreign couple was taken into custody off Rumassala beach. Along with them a spear gun and a pair of diving fins were also seized by the Navy. Further investigations revealed that the suspects are Ukrainian nationals. The couple along with the fishing gear were handed over to the Habaraduwa Police for onward investigation.
