Train travel along the up-country rail route delayed

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Railway Control Room states that there will be a delay of trains on the upcountry railway line. The train delay has been caused due to a derailment between Nanu-Oya and Ambewela. The derailed train was a freight carriage that was en route from Kandy to Badulla. The railway control room further stated that speedy measures are being taken to restore train travel.
