21/04 PCOI to begin recording evidence from the 17th

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Presidential Commission to investigate the April 21st attack is due to commence recording evidence from the 17th of January. The Secretary of the Commission, H. M. P. B. Herath says that as of now statements have been recorded from nearly 305 people. Among the individuals who recorded statements are the Archbishop of Colombo, His Excellency Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, Professor Rohan Gunarathne and two DIG officers. The interim report of the investigations carried out on the 21/04 attack was handed over to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on the 19th of last month.
