Swiss Embassy staffer arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Swiss Embassy employee, Garnier Banister Francis who alleged to have been abducted and threatened was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department on the instructions given by the Attorney General. Garnier Banister Francis was present before the CID this morning for the 6th day to provide a statement. After a while, the Swiss Embassy employee was taken by the CID to the National Institute of Mental Health. She was once again summoned to the CID after she was subject to tests for more than 4 hours at the National Institute of Mental Health. The Attorney General instructed for her arrest, citing her exciting disaffection against the government and fabricating false evidence to be used in a judicial proceeding.
