We are ready to win any election: Minister Janaka Bandara

Colombo (News 1st): Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Janaka Bandara Tennakoon obtained blessings from the Chief Prelates of Malwatte and Asgiri Chapters. Minister first visited the Asgiriya Viharaya and invoked blessings from the Mahanayaka Thero of the Asgiriya Chapter of Siam Nikaya Most Venerable Warakagoda Gnanarathana Thero.

Thereafter, The Minister obtained blessings from Mahanayaka Thero of the Malwatte Chapter of Siam Sect Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thero. The Minister also invoked blessings from the Anunayake of the Malwatte Chapter, Most Venerable Wimaladharma Thero. Most Venerable Dimbulkumbura Wimaladharma Thero noted that they have been given a very huge ministerial portfolio and also some that have great value, Public Administration should be performed well because the administration is weak at present. He noted that therefore, the Minister has to be strict and maintain order. Thereafter, the Minister expressed his views on the elections noted that they are expecting to hold the general elections as soon as possible because the people are expecting the general elections. He added that they are ready for any election and assures that they will win.
