CG 410 handed over to the Sri Lanka Coast Guard

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka Navy handed over CG410 to the Sri Lanka Coast Guard at the dockyard slipway, Trincomalee over the weekend. Major work of the project scope included; removal of entire thick paint coating, re-plating damaged and dented hull area, overhauling engines, installation of the new radar, installation of new GPS among others. The craft underwent a major refit after 30 years since the acquisition from, Israel in 1988.
