Minister Harin Fernando steps down from all portfolios

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Minister Harin Fernando taking to his official twitter account states that he will be stepping down from his post as the Minister of Sports, Telecommunications & Foreign Employment while respecting the people's mandate. He further claims that he will also be resigning from all the positions that he holds in the United National Party. The Minister also thanked his supporters and assured to continue in doing the good work.  

Respecting the people's mandate I am stepping down as Minister of Sports, Telecommunications & Foreign Employment. I am also resigning from my positions at UNP. I take this opportunity to thank every one who supported me in my tenure, hope good work done will be continued
