COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Elections Commission states that the Elections Protection and Coordinating Office will be in operation from tomorrow.
A senior spokesperson of the Commission said that a Deputy Inspector of Police and a Senior Elections Officer will be leading a special team appointed for this purpose.
Hence the public will be able to lodge complaints and inquiries at this office regarding the upcoming Presidential Election.
The Commission said District Operation Stations have already been established for Coordination.
Those stations will be operational under the Chief Inspectors for each district.
