Maithri Gunaratne challenges Karu Jayasuriya to an open debate

COLOMBO (News 1st): Governor of the Central Province, Maithree Gunaratne speaking to the media following an event held in Gurudeniya, Kandy today (July 19) spoke on Karu Jayasuriya coming forward as the Presidential candidate for the upcoming elections. Gunaratne said that although Karu Jayasuriya wears a white suit that he has no qualities of a gentleman whatsoever. Further, he openly challenged the speaker to come forth for a debate where he would readily point out the number of times he betrayed the people for minor advantages. He added that Karu Jayasuriya is not a person suitable for this post as he does not have a single quality of a gentleman.
