One dead and four injured in motor accident

Colombo (News 1st) - 

A woman died and four others were injured in a motor accident that occurred in close proximity to the Pussella petrol station on the Colombo-Ratnapura main road this morning.

According to the police, the four individuals (3 men, 1 woman) who suffered injuries were admitted to the Ratnapura hospital. The deceased is 70-year-old resident of Wewalthanna. The police further stated that the accident occurred when a lorry and a three-wheeler collided with each other. The injured persons had been onboard the three-wheeler. The driver of the lorry has been arrested over the incident.
