COLOMBO (News 1st) – The editor of the Voice for Justice, Sudarman Radaliyagoda convening a media briefing in Colombo today (July 24) voiced his concerns about the Independent Television Network (ITN).
He noted that the once popular network has dropped in the ratings to 6th or 7th place and has suffered other losses as well. Radaliyagoda expressed his doubts as to why the network was suffering such a fate.
Sudarman Radliyagoda believes that this is a precursor to a Government effort to sell off the network to a powerful minister in the Government. He notes that this is the same MO that the Government used when leasing the Hambantota port to the Chinese and in their attempts to sell the Mattala Airport.
