COLOMBO (News 1st) - Reports have revealed that nearly 10% of bus drivers and conductors tested had used drugs.
Chairman of the National Transport Medical Institute, Professor Clifford Perera, said the drug tests conducted so far covering the Western, Southern, North Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces have confirmed this.
Professor Clifford Perera stated that the process of testing drivers who operate vehicles under the influence of drugs is continuing.
