IMF Staff Delegation to Arrive in Sri Lanka Tomorrow for Economic Review

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A staff-level delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (24).

IMF mission chief for Sri Lanka, Evan Papageorgiou, earlier said the team will remain in the country until the 30th of this month.

During their visit, the delegation will assess recent economic developments in Sri Lanka.

The purpose of the visit is to review the performance of the country’s economic reform programme.
