Bus Fares Rise: Minimum Charge Now Rs. 30/-

COLOMBO (News 1st); The minimum bus fare will be increased by 12.19 percent with effect from midnight tonight, the government has announced.
Cabinet Spokesperson Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said that following the revision, the minimum bus fare will be Rs. 30.
The increase represents a Rs. 3 hike in the minimum fare, which will apply from midnight onward.
