President Dissanayake Vows to Build A United Nation

COLOMBO (News1st): President Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that Sri Lanka will be built on the foundation of national unity, allowing no room for division, racism, or extremism. 

The President made these remarks while addressing the nation during the 78th National Independence Day celebrations.

President Dissanayake added that plans are underway to ensure the country's economic benefits flow down, even to the lowest strata of society.
