Australia Extends Wishes for 78th National Independence Day

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Government of Australia has extended its wishes to Sri Lanka on the occasion of Sri Lanka's 78th Independence Day.

In a post published on X, Australian High Commission in Colombo affirmed that Australia was proud to celebrate with Sri Lankans everywhere, standing side by side with the island nation on its journey toward peace and prosperity.

Australia further reaffirmed that it stands with Sri Lanka “today and always,” as both nations move forward together in unity and diversity.
