Discussions Begin to Grant Voting Rights to Sri Lankans Abroad

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment Arun Hemachandra says discussions have commenced with the Election Commission on granting voting rights to Sri Lankans living overseas.
He noted that the initiative is expected to be implemented as a pilot project during the upcoming elections.
