Man arrested in Devinuwara with heroin, 'Ice', and Rs. 500,000 in cash

COLOMBO (News1st): A man has been arrested in Gandara, Devinuwara with Heroin and Ice Narcotics.
Accordingly, the following items were taken into custody,
115g and 200mg of heroin, 23g and 700mg of 'Ice' and approximately Rs. 500,000 in cash.
The suspect is a 38-year-old resident of Devinuwara.
Police said that he is a close associate of a drug trafficker currently operating from abroad.
The suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Matara Magistrate's Court today.
