16-Year-Old Girl Injured In Kohuwala Shooting Incident

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 16-year-old girl has been injured in a shooting incident that occurred last night in Bodhiya Watta area of Kohuwala. 

Police said the shooting took place at around 10:10 p.m. last night.

According to Police, two unidentified gunmen who arrived on a motorcycle had opened fire and fled the scene.

The 16-year-old girl was shot in front of her house.

She was later admitted to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital for treatment.
