IMF Delegation to Visit Sri Lanka Early Next Year

COLOMBO (News 1st); A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka early next year.

The visit is aimed at discussing the fifth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) provided by the IMF.

The fifth review of the EFF has already been completed, and the IMF Executive Board was originally scheduled to meet on December 15 to grant approval.

However, the meeting was postponed following Sri Lanka’s request for rapid financing.
