Committee Appointed To Probe Environmental Damage

COLOMBO (News 1st): A committee has been appointed to investigate the environmental damage caused by the disasters following Cyclone Ditwah.

According to the Minister of Environment, Dr. Dhammika Patabendi, the committee consists of 9 members.

Minister Dr. Dhammika Patabendi further noted that the committee is expected to assess the total damage caused to the ecosystem by the disasters and submit a report within two weeks.
