Ministry Of Transport Fills 329 Vacancies In Railway Service

COLOMBO (News 1st):The Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation has announced the recruitment of employees for 329 vacant positions in the railway sector.

The Ministry stated that those who qualified in the written examination conducted in July and August were recruited according to the formal procedure, following interviews.

In this first phase of recruitment, appointments were made to 8 consultant positions, 47 Railway Technical Management Assistant - Electrical positions, 193 Railway Technical Management Assistant - Mechanical positions, and 81 Basic Technician positions.
