Indian National Arrested at BIA with 10kg of Kush Worth Rs. 105 Million

COLOMBO(News 1st); A suspect from India in possesion with over 10 Kilo Grams of Kush valued at 105 million rupees was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport today.

The suspect, a 43-year-old salesman at a footwear shop in New Delhi, purchased the drugs in Bangkok, Thailand.

He then brought them to Katunayake via New Delhi on Air India flight AI-277.

According to the customs, the drugs were discovered packed in 19 seperate packs using the new scanning machine installed at the airport.
