Sri Lanka to Issue Driving Licenses Aligned with International Standards

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The government has announced a new initiative to issue driving licenses that comply with international standards, in response to challenges faced by Sri Lankans using their driving licenses abroad, particularly in European countries such as Italy.

The program is being spearheaded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Highways. 

It aims to ensure that Sri Lankan driving licenses are recognized and accepted more widely across the globe.
