2000 University Faculty Positions Open in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has announced the commencement of recruitment to fill vacancies in university faculty positions.

Deputy Minister Dr. Madura Seneviratne stated that these efforts are being carried out at the university level.

The Federation Of University Teachers' Associations has highlighted that approximately 2000 essential faculty positions remain vacant across universities. 

Deputy Minister Seneviratne emphasized that these vacancies will be filled based on priority.
