Another Suspect Involved In Devinuwara Shooting Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); A T56 firearm allegedly used in the shooting incident, which was carried out close to the Devinuwara Devalaya in Gandara, Matara, has been recovered.

The firearm was recovered following the arrest of another suspect believed to be involved in the incident. 

Previously, a suspect allegedly involved in the same incident was also arrested with a T56 firearm.

The recovery of the firearm and the arrest were made following interrogation of the suspect previously arrested.

The shooting occurred near the Devinuwara Sri Vishnu Devalaya on Sinhasana Road, targeting two individuals traveling on a motorcycle on the 21st of March.
