Nominations For Three Local Government Bodies To Close Today

COLOMBO (News 1st); The acceptance of nominations for the Poonakary, Mannar, and Dehiattakandiya Pradeshiya Sabhas for the 2025 local government elections will close at 12 noon today.
Objections can be submitted after the nomination period ends.
The election date for these local government bodies will be announced following the conclusion of the nomination process.
Meanwhile, elections for the remaining 336 local government institutions will be held on May 6th.
