COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation Bimal Ratnayake has confirmed that investigations have found no fault with the Air Force K-8 aircraft that crashed in Wariyapola.
The Minister said that the findings were revealed in the report of the committee appointed to investigate the incident.
The crash occurred last Friday when a Sri Lanka Air Force pilot training aircraft crashed into a coconut estate in Welagedara in Minuwangate, Wariyapola.
Two Air Force personnel were injured in the accident.
The investigation was conducted by a seven-member committee.
