Woman Arrested in Connection with Grandpass Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 24-year-old woman from Wellampitiya, Kotuwila, has been arrested in connection with the shooting incident that occurred on March 17 in the Nagalagam Street area of Grandpass.
The arrest was made by the Grandpass Police following investigations into the incident.
On the night of March 17, two individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on two others, resulting in injuries to both victims.
The police had previously arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting, and the woman arrested yesterday is identified as the wife of this suspect.
