Eran Poised to Run for Colombo Mayor Under SJB Banner

COLOMBO (News 1st); Eran Wickramaratne is expected to be the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) candidate for the Colombo mayoral election, according to Hirunika Premachandra, the party's organizer for Kaduwela.

Premachandra made this announcement today while placing security deposits for the Kaduwela Municipal Council.

"As a team, we believe that Eran Wickramaratne will be our candidate for the Colombo mayoral election. Although it has not been officially announced, current information suggests that he is the chosen candidate. He is a leader who understands the aspirations of the people and has impressive qualifications from prestigious universities around the world," Premachandra stated.
